Engagement Process

Under our Engagement Model, we do have first-hand relation (communication) with our client to ensure the client has fixed and well-structured project requirements and expected deliverables. In this model, we consider project specifications from client and offer a fixed quote and time to deliver the project.

It is a workable model with an approach that involves uninterrupted client involvement at every phase of the project. In this model, the client’s project is divided into milestones (Series of unique tasks) and after reaching it milestone, a review is conducted in accordance to the client’s requirement before moving the next milestone (phase/stage of the project). This model of engagement is suitable for both long-term and short-term projects where the client is following agile development practices.

We take on a wide range of responsibilities by designing and co-creating digital products (e.g. software) with our clients while bearing in mind the interest of the potential end Users/Vendors in mind. We manage the entire product development life cycle from ideation, planning to implementation then support and maintenance.

This model enhances easy collaboration with clients while the product management, work processes and delivery (updates) are fully managed by us - GTS.

Confidentiality is a matter of utmost care when associating with our clients. It is very important that the client’s confidentiality be protected at all times especially by members of GTS team who on behalf of the IT firm assist the client during course of the project.

We require a clear business requirement analysis so as to avoid problems in understanding the requirements of our (potential) clients. This process shared clarity towards discovering, analyzing to the minute detail, identifying, and reporting the requirements that are identified with the client's main business objective.

It is by this process that the scope of the project will be clearly defined after which we can assess the time-scale and resources needed to complete the project

After putting-together and understanding the client’s requirements, we prepare a proposal and send to the client. Our proposition will rely on upon a precise examination of customer's necessities. The proposal is meant to inform the client about timeframe for the work expected of us to deliver, project management arrangement between both parties and the cost of the proposed project. The major components of the proposition will be:

• The Proposal document is sent to the customer for their perusal and subject to approval by client
• Detailed description of the scope of the project, goals of the application software and its functionalities, limitations around the requirement specifications.
• Groundwork estimate covers the size of the project with respect to Groundwork research effort and development costs
• An estimated timeline for the implementation of the project

The project development phase will kick off after settling the complete project requirements specification with the client. During this phase, at every milestone of the project development (e.g. software) module, the project can be reviewed by the client for review against their business requirements, so as to ensure that the end product will meet the original objectives.

In this phase, the product (e.g. software application) is tested to ensure it meets expected functionality, performance capability, and stress testing - to verify stability and reliability of the product and ensure all requirements are met.

We follow iteratively process when working on project to allow more flexibility for changes. When requirements and design of a major application are done, there can be unforeseen problems that don’t surface until development begins. By working iteratively, the project team goes through a cycle where they evaluate with each iteration, and determine what changes are needed to produce a satisfactory end product.
